Great ways to have a Cheap Barbecue!
How often do you actually have a barbecue? Once, twice, maybe at the most four times a year. It doesn’t sound like much but when you do have a barbecue it can be one of the greatest days of the summer and if your not careful one of the most expensive.
Friends, Family and your Neighbors all come together just for the sake of having a good time in the summer sun.
It times like these that the ‘its worth it, no matter the cost’ mentality comes into play.
You can think that the more you spend the better its going to be, and looking around most of the big food stores the selection of barbecue related material can be daunting.
The truth is, no matter how much you spend it will not make the slighted difference unless you know what your doing. If you are aware of exactly what you want to get out of a barbecue then your half way there.
An inexpensive barbecue depends on 2 basic things.
1. The Right Equipment:
When looking at buying a cheap barbecue you need to really think of how many people you want to cater for and how much work you want to do.
Lets say for example you have a max of 10 people and you want to do everything yourself and its going to be a one off.
In this case you buy the cheapest barbecue you can find.
But in the case where you want convenience, plan to use the machine often and are looking to cater for more than 25 people then you need to get a gas powered, brick based barbecue which will stand the test of time. Is it a cheap barbecue? That depends on how you look at it. Getting a quality system can save hundreds int he long run.
2. The right food:
What you cook is probably the most important aspect of a barbecue because this is what everyone will actually eat. Cheap good food is in ready supply, focus on making the sauces yourself and save a fortune on ready prepared dishes.
Of course you need to have also the right atmosphere, people, weather and time but these are factors which you may not be able to influence. The food and cooker, if planned correctly can make a cheap barbecue an inexpensive option which you can do again and again.
